Associate Advocate- Head Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)Dr. Bharti Jain is an Advocate and Registered Patent Agent, with over 15 years of experience in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) with focus on facilitating innovators from Industry and Academia in protection and enforcement of IPRs, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, industrial designs and allied matters.

A veterinary doctor by technical qualification, she has practical experience in drafting of patent specifications, filing and prosecution of patent applications and response to office actions in India and outside. She deals in patents across all major fields for Indian and overseas clients with specialized focus on life sciences, biochemical, medical, medical devices, immunological, herbal, pharmaceutical inventions.

She has an extensive experience in patent analytics including Freedom to Operate, infringements analysis and due diligence. She is also well versed with the laws and issues related to biodiversity and traditional knowledge. She actively participates in international and national conferences and seminars and is regularly called upon as a speaker in seminars, conferences, patents awareness workshops conducted by various forums in India, by government agencies and private sector entities for training and advice on Intellectual Property laws. She is member of Asian Patent Attorney Association (APAA) and Licensing Executives Society International (LESI).
